Set Your Goals; Start them now!

You do not need a new year to start working on your goals, you should set them and start working on them right now, there's no time like the present. People love to shout about how they're going to make some drastic life changes and set some New Year's resolutions but most people give them up before January is even over. Apparently only 8% of people who make resolutions will actually fulfill them in a 'timely fashion'. So why not turn your resolutions into actual goals that you can work on without having some sort of time frame or waiting until its time to buy a new calendar.


A lot of us love to use the new year as an excuse to start fresh which is absolutely fine but why not get those wheels into motion now? Think of it as having a head start. We have three months left of this year, use it wisely. It's a short amount of time but there's so much you can achieve if you really want to make some changes. Whether you've been meaning to join a gym, wanting to eat healthier, start travelling more, being more careful with money, having a career change, getting rid of toxicity, set the intention NOW and you may already achieve it before the year ends.


Setting goals and having some sort of plan is what we have been focusing on these past few months, we have so many ideas that we want to bring to life and we know with all the determination and hard work we're putting in, we will succeed. We have achieved more than what we could ever imagined in such a short amount of time and that's all because we have set our goals. We know exactly what we want and what we need to do in order to get it. Be very clear on what it is you want, keep track of the progress, acknowledge when you've achieved your goal and then just keep setting more. Make sure you celebrate and treat yourself a little when you complete one. There's a very useful tool called The Law of Attraction planner which allows you to organise everything from daily tasks to life goals. It is very structured and jam packed full of pages that will keep you motivated. I try and pick it up at least once a day to fill in the little sections or even just to write down my thoughts. To conclude, I personally won't be setting any New Year's resolutions and that doesn't mean i'm not working on myself or towards what I want, i'm just not doing it because it's a new year. I have many goals and ambitions that I have wanted to start on for so long but never had the confidence or motivation, now I have finally noted them and I'm going to grab them with both hands and claim them. Stop waiting around for the year to end, get ahead of your 2020 goals now.
